Pick Up

We are open for browsing and also offer click and collect from our shop at 197 Swan St Richmond. You will find on street car parking available in front of our shop, but please bear in mind there is a towed clear way directly in front of our shop from 4.30pm Monday - Friday. You will find a public car park at the rear (via Charles St then Charlotte St) near the Richmond Public Library with 2 hours free parking. Entry into our shop is via 197 Swan St only.

Please come to collect your order at the nominated time per your online order, confirmation or as discussed. We run to a strict time schedule based on pick up times to ensure all orders are as fresh (cake/sweet treats) & so that balloons have the longest float life possible for your celebration.

Should your celebration time change please be sure to let us know as this may impact your pick up. Should your order include inflated balloons we highly recommend advising us of a significant change in time or date of your celebration as this may impact when we inflate. Should your order include cakes and the date of the celebration changes, please advise us as we may choose to prepare your order later than planned or suggest a different storage option.

Please note once an order is collected Burnt Butter is not liable for any changes in the condition of the items as we are unable to control the conditions of storage.

Delivery

Please note when booking delivery a minimum of 24hrs notice is required. We will absolutely assist when we can if a shorter time frame is provided but same day delivery can not be guaranteed.

Uber pick ups are available, please advise if you are planning to use this service in the notes as you checkout. Once your order is ready we will call to advise so you can book your Uber. This way you have the tracking details and the driver has your number upon delivery. Unfortunately, we don’t book Uber pick ups on your behalf.

$25 (with a minimum order of $50) to postcodes 3121 & 3122.

$35 (with a minimum order of $50) to postcodes 3000, 3002, 3006, 3066, 3067, 3123, 3141, 3142, 3205.

$40 (with a minimum order of $50) to postcodes 3101, 3124, 3143, 3144, 3181, 3182, 3183, 3053, 3068

*Wedding cake, time sensitive products or deliveries that require a specific delivery time may attract additional fees and will be invoiced separately when placing your order online.

*Please note an additional charge of $15+ may apply when delivering within the CBD, to inner city buildings to a particular floor, hospitals, when check in is required, within a shopping centre or when parking is limited and/or requires payment. In this circumstance we will custom quote the additional charge dependant on the delivery circumstances.

*Please note Sunday deliveries attract a $10 surcharge and are available upon availability and will be invoiced separately when placing your order online.

Most deliveries will occur between 1.30-5.30pm (Monday to Friday) and after 14.00 on Saturdays dependent on driver availability and the number of orders we have booked.

Should you wish to have your items delivered in the morning, you are welcome to call to see if we can assist and if we can, we certainly will. (Please note additional charges may apply.) Alternatively we suggest delivery the day prior. Please be sure to touch base should you be concerned about balloon float times. All of our cakes and sweet treats are absolutely fine to be delivered the day prior utilising our storage suggestions unless otherwise noted.

Postage

We offer both Standard Post and Express Post options.

For orders that consist of party ware, uninflated balloons and decorations that don’t require customisation if received by 10am they will be shipped same day. Items such as cakes, cookies and cupcakes can not be shipped but can be delivered locally per availability.

All parcels are sent with tracked shipping. You will receive your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Arrival dates vary greatly based on your nominated delivery address. We currently utilise Australia Post for all postage. Please visit Australia Post’s website calculator to check the current delivery times to your postcode by clicking here.

Regular post usually arrives within 2+ days business days. If you are located within Victoria, metro parcels should arrive within to 2 business days & country parcels up to 5 business days. If you are located in a state other than Victoria, metro parcels should arrive within 3-6 business days & for country please ask at your local Post Office.

Express Post offers next business day delivery within the Express Post network. The national next business day delivery network operates between capital cities (excluding Darwin; and for Perth between CBDs only) and some major centres. Please note these times can vary and can change in accordance with Australia Post’s current delivery schedules.
